Distribution

iBex allows for the creation of Registered Users and Agents. This is a powerful tool to allow you to market your website to different client groups.

With 6 rate values, you can have one price for the public, various discounted rates for privileged users and higher rates for your agents to take a commission on.The rate values can be calculated off Rate 1, or independent of Rate 1. Any changes made to Rate 1 would instantly affect those calculated from it, but not the fixed rates

An example is illustrated below, but you can set your own multiplier figures.

 Bed and Breakfast
 User Multiplier Room Price

 Rate 1
 General Public
 1 £100
 Rate 2
Negotiated price for business user 1
 FIXED PRICE
 £92
 Rate 3
Negotiated price for business user 2 FIXED PRICE £94
 Rate 4
 General business users
 0.9 £90
 Rate 5
 Travel Agent
 1.1 £110
 Rate 6
Repeat bookers discount
 0.95 £95

Rate 1 would be your normal rate for the general public. Credit cards could be required for deposit. Contact information would be required.

Rates 2 & 3 would be a previously negotiated rates with a business users, which would not change based on the rate 1 value. By entering a purchase order number, credit card screens would be bypassed to allow invoicing. Contact information would be pre-populated to make the booking process faster.

Rate 4 would be a group for all your regular business users where you were offering a flat 10% discount on any bookings. Each user is created individually, and assigned to Rate 4 (in this example) - so many different businesses can use Rate 4. Credit cards may be bypassed in favour of invoicing on a per user basis, as could contact information being pre-populated.

Rate 5 would be a travel agent who books via their link to your site and charges a guest 10% deposit for their commission. The balance being payable to you on departure.

Rate 6 would offer a way to encourage repeat booking, by offering all guests the ability to get a 5% discount if they book online. Credit cards and contact information required.
