To update Booking.com with rates and minimum stay requirements we recommend a separate user group is setup for Booking.com within iBex.


Notes:
Booking.com can forward booking cancellations to iBex, however amendments are sent as an enquiry. You must notify booking.com how you require to receive notification of cancellation of any bookings made at booking.com prior to interface to Seekom iBex.

Booking.com holds availability at rate level. If you provide more than one rate per room type to Booking.com (eg. Nightly and 3 Night Special) you can elect to divide room availability across rates, or publish full room availability to each rate.

Booking.com requires gross rates to be provided.

Base room rate only is transmitted to booking.com. Any changes to extra/adult child prices must be maintained directly at booking.com.

If you wish to transmit a single rate (or a base room rate for just one person) to booking.com, then the rate in iBex must be set to a minimum and maximum of 1 person.

By default booking.com does not activate single use room rates - this will have to be requested of booking.com if required.

 

Below are the requirements to interface real time availability from iBex to to Booking.com to enable them to make sales on your behalf.

  1. You must be selling rooms to be mapped to Booking.com on an instant confirmation basis within iBex.

  2. Contact your local Booking.com account manager to request the xml connection agreement. Click here for Booking.com offices and contact details. On the agreement you will need to have "Seekom Limited" as the interface provider.

  3. Booking.com will advise you, and one UP when XML connection has been approved.

  4. Please then contact your iBex Account Manager who will assist you in completing Booking.com user group, rates and xml interface setup within iBex.
